It’s not every day that you get to see the pain points behind a marketer’s journey. In the world of marketing, everything is meticulously planned, scheduled, and precisely conveyed. But Peter Murphy Lewis’s life before Strategic Pete called for something different.
Recently, Peter had the honor of sharing his story in The Traveler journal, where he revealed his path from being a “future” banker to becoming a global traveler, TV host, and eventually, CEO at Strategic Pete.
His story took a dramatic turn in 2010 when a life-threatening tumor pushed him to reevaluate everything. So, what did Peter do? Peter bought a motorcycle and embarked on a solo motorcycle trip along the coast between Kansas and Florida—a journey of self-discovery that reshaped his life and led him to where he is today.
Peter’s story is a powerful reminder that sometimes, the most unexpected turns in life lead us to where we truly belong. His passion for storytelling, travel, and connecting with people worldwide became the foundation for his work today. But more than that, his family became his anchor, supporting him as he transitioned from a path of uncertainty to one of purpose.
Strategic Pete is built on the lessons he’s learned, the roads he’s traveled, and his passion for helping businesses discover their own paths to success.
Now, Peter is fully immersed in some new ventures. He’s shining a spotlight on the heroes of healthcare with his documentary “People Worth Caring About” (coming out soon!) and preparing for his next big project, the TV show “Sueño Americano,” where he’ll explore the dreams and stories of Latin Americans across the U.S. A good next read is our guide to getting featured in the press; to learn more about the author, read about Peter Murphy Lewis and his team.
